Premiering tonight (Jan 23rd) at the Sundance Film Festival, Bachelorette may sound like a combo of Bridesmaids and a certain ABC reality TV show, but after talking with the film’s cast — including Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan — as well as writer-director Leslye Headland, it’s clear the film is its own unique animal. Along with a discussion of how these female friends, who get together for a wild, drug-fueled pre-wedding party, use their powers for evil, we also learn about Dunst’s unusual choice for a sushi restaurant, and how the male characters were, essentially, “sex objects.” Check out our interview below:
