“Arrested Development” Gallery and episode guide update

Over the last few weeks I’ve been updating the site with content from Isla’s guest role in Arrested Development. Isla played Rebel Alley in season 4 of TV comedy back in 2013. The entire season can be streamed online at Netflix if you want to catch it, and it’s worth it for Isla. The Filmography page for the series has been updated with extensive information on Isla’s role in the season including an episode guide with quotes, and we have HD screencaptures from all episodes in our Gallery.

“Life Of Crime” Gallery Update

The Gallery has recently been updated with photos from Isla’s 2013 release Life Of Crime, including stills, posters, trailer screencaptures and HD film screencaptures. Isla played Melanie in the comedy-crime film. While not one of my favourite movies of Isla’s, she did play a pivotal and interesting role, and she brought her usual charm and humour to the film!

Melanie: “I mean, you’re a hunk, but you’re a piss-poor extortionist if you don’t mind me saying. Let’s be honest, this could’ve been set-up a whole lot better.”

First trailer and stills from “Visions”

The first trailer for Isla’s creepy new thriller Visions has just been released, and accompanying it are the first poster and a big batch of stills from the movie. Isla plays the role of Eveleigh in the film directed by Kevin Greutert. Visions will be released in Singapore on September 17th. No word on any international release dates as yet unfortunately…. it’s been too long since we’ve seen Isla on screen!!

Leaving her hectic city lifestyle behind, young mother-to-be Eveleigh joins her husband David at their beautiful new vineyard home only to be plagued by terrifying noises and visions of a sinister hooded figure. No one else hears or sees these hallucinations, not even David, who grows increasingly worried about his wife’s well-being.

Desperate to prove her sanity, Eveleigh hunts down locals who reveal the haunted history of the vineyard in which she now resides. But when the pieces come together, the answer is far different – and more dangerous to her and her baby – than she ever imagined.

Isla at The Screen Actors Guild Awards

Isla attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago, as one of the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series nominees for Arrested Development. She looked super glamourous and Hollywood in a champagne coloured gown by Oscar De La Renta, with Louboutin ‘Lady Peep Ringed Strass’ heels and Bulgari jewellry to accessorise, and her red hair tousled and curled. Sacha joined her for the show inside, and the couple were seen talking to Arrested Development producer Brian Grazer. Unfortunately the cast did not win their category – it went to Modern Family instead – but it’s still great to see Isla in attendance and looking fabulous as a nominee on the red carpet!

With thanks to Lindsey, Luciana, Celyn and Marina, we have over 100 HQ photos from the event in our Gallery!

Isla at the Tory Burch Rodeo Drive Flagship Opening

A few weeks ago Isla attended the opening of designer Tory Burch’s Rodeo Drive Flagship Store in Beverley Hills. She looked cute in a little patterned pale green dress – presumably by Tory Burch! Isla posed with fellow actresses Ahna O’Reilly, Emmy Rossum, Hailee Steinfeld and Brooklyn Decker at the event. HQ pics are in the Gallery, and further down this post are a couple of videos.

Isla and Sacha at the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards

Last month, Isla and Sacha attended the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards in Los Angeles, where Sacha was honoured with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy. Isla looked absolutely gorgeous in a floor length white gown by Burberry with Kwiat jewellry, and she and Sacha look so happy together! I’ve now added a massive 192 HQ photos from the event to our Gallery for your viewing pleasure – there are lots of fabulous shots in there for you to enjoy. Big thanks to our friends Celyn and Lindsey for their help with these pics.

Further down this post is a snippet of info about the award Sacha received, plus a clip from the presentation of his award, which features some shots of the two of them watching in the audience.

The Britannia Awards: Sacha Baron Cohen

BAFTA Los Angeles presented Sacha Baron Cohen with a Britannia Award for comedy in 2013.

The Britannia Awards are BAFTA Los Angeles’ highest accolade, a celebration of achievements honoring individuals and companies that have dedicated their careers to advancing the entertainment arts. In 2013, actor, writer and producer Sacha Baron Cohen was honored with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy.

The award was presented at the annual gala ceremony in November 9 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The presentation was made by actress Salma Hayek who described Sacha to have “consistently demonstrated total courage as an artist. He has literally risked his life to make us laugh.” Salma’s speech was followed by a rather shocking incident when Sacha took to the stage to accept his Britannia.

Isla in Save The Children’s New Film for World Marathon Challenge

Actors And Athletes In Save The Children’s New Film Hit The Ground Running

Save the Children today launched a star-studded film featuring actress Isla Fisher, Disney actor Cameron Boyce, Bollywood megastar Kunal Kapoor and Kenyan former world record marathon holder Patrick Makau, to promote its World Marathon Challenge for kids.

The World Marathon Challenge, a global relay race in which teams of kids come together to complete a full marathon, is taking place globally throughout the month of October, and involves more than 50,000 children in 67 countries. The relay race aims to raise awareness and funds for programs focused on child survival and well-being.

The short film has each of the stars running a leg of the race in different corners of the world. The film kicks off in Kenya with athlete Patrick Makau deftly gliding through the rural countryside. It then cuts to Bollywood’s Kunal Kapoor as he charges past ruins on the outskirts of Mumbai, before passing the baton to the safe hands of Isla Fisher in the United States. Cameron Boyce (“Grown Ups,” “Grown Ups 2”) then takes center stage in Los Angeles, with baton-twirling breakdance moves his fans will love.
