Isla is featured in the new issue of People magazine, which is their ‘Most Beautiful’ issue! It’s a really gorgeous new pink-themed photoshoot – stunning! The brief article in the magazine has Isla talking about pink and her favourite colour, however, the behind the scenes interview video (below) has some nice snippets on Isla’s “floral obsession”, when she feels at her best during the day, baths, supportive friends, and her new movie Strays. We’ve added the photoshoot and the scan from the magazine to our Gallery:

“I get nervous talking about it”: Why Isla Fisher keeps her marriage close to her heart
”I have four other human beings [in my life] and I need to keep everybody happy.”
Isla Fisher is searching for her family’s passports, and their frequent flyer numbers. There was a time when they’d have been at her fingertips, but it’s been two whole years now that she, husband Sacha Baron Cohen and their tribe of three have been largely settled in Australia, and she knows those pesky passports are around here somewhere, but where?
You would think there would be someone who could do this for her. You would think that one of Australia’s most successful and gifted actors (and her brilliant, hilarious husband) would have a retinue of people keeping track of passports. But not so. The Baron Cohen/Fisher household seems to be a very hands-on operation.
Perhaps that’s in part because this comedic bombshell (whose box office hits include Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and the 2020 Edward Hall remake Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit) insists that the most important role in her life is motherhood. And her favourite aspect of that role – the one that fills her with pure joy – is inventing tall tales, creating characters and funny voices, and acting out classic stories to amuse her children.

As expected, Isla attended the G’Day AAA Arts Gala in Los Angeles yesterday, where she received the award for Excellence in the Arts. She posed with her fellow honorees Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and Tushar Apte on the red carpet. Isla wore a striking blue Rasario pre-fall dress with a thigh-high slit, silver Jimmy Choo heels, and Nicole Rose jewelry. Unfortunately we can’t find a video of Isla receiving this award yet, but we do have some beautiful photos from the red carpet in our Gallery for you! There are some red carpet videos further down this post too.
Isla Fisher and Sophie Turner on the Joys of Mastering New Genres
From Peacock’s “Wolf Like Me” star Isla Fisher to Sophie Turner, star of HBO Max’s upcoming series “The Staircase,” this episode of “UnWrapped” podcast features women who are stepping outside their comfort zone and into new genres.
While you may recognize Fisher for her comedy roles in “Wedding Crashers,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic” or as “The Crier” in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” audiences are exposed to a new side of her talents in “Wolf Like Me,” a romantic dramedy with a monster twist.
Meanwhile, after a several year hiatus from acting, Turner returns to the screen in the domestic crime drama “The Staircase.” Known for her previous roles in large franchises such as “Game of Thrones” and “X-Men,” Sophie’s role as Margaret Ratliff in “The Staircase” marks her first time not only playing a non-fictional character, but also acting in a true crime series.

Isla appeared on Watch What Happens Live last Thursday, as part of her Wolf Like Me promotion. As well as her new show, she also chatted about being married to someone else in the same business, Curb Your Enthusiasm, I Heart Huckabees, the advice she was given by Naomi Watts that’s helped to guide her career, Wedding Crashers (no sequel just yet!) and who made her the most star struck the first time she met them (Eddie Murphy). She also gave her views on some of her previous red carpet outfits, and they showed clips from some of her early roles (Clowning Around 2 and Scooby Doo). In the after show she chatted about her experience working with Leo DiCaprio for The Great Gatsby, and with Tom Ford on Nocturnal Animals.
Isla’s white off-the-shoulder romper is made by Jonathan Simkhai, with jewellery by Patcharavipa.
