More new “Bachelorette” press interviews

Another batch of Bachelorette interviews have been added to our Press page today! Go have a read….

“I think people want to see movies the way they want to see them. I think that seeing them at home in your jammies is an appealing option and I can totally understand that. And why not? This movie, why I think there’s specific interest, is because I think that this is a rare comedy that has a lot of pathos and dramatic moments, and deals with issues that normally are in regular indie movies instead of indie comedy movies, and I like to think that it’s because Leslye Headland’s a wonderful female writer and there are three great female roles in a female centered comedy. There’s not enough of them getting made.”

“Bachelorette” box office week #1

Entertainment Weekly provide the lowdown on how Bachelorette did on it’s first weekend in US cinemas.

In limited release, Weinstein’s much buzzed-about comedy Bachelorette, which stars Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan, and Isla Fisher as naughty party girls, fizzled with only $191,000 from 47 theaters — enough for a per theater average of $4,064. That figure doesn’t merit major expansions in the weeks to come. Bachelorette‘s under-performance is somewhat surprising given its strong VOD performance in August.

“Bachlorette” in US cinemas now!

Bachelorette is now out in US cinemas! Following it’s incredibly successful debut on VoD last month, it is now available to watch on the big screen in limited US cinemas. If you haven’t seen it yet then be sure to head on out to your cinema next chance you get … and if you have seen it on VoD then why not enjoy it on the big screen too?! The film has been much-talked about since it’s intital release last month and it seems to be a love-it or hate-it kind of movie, but most people seem agreed on how awesome Isla is in it, and it certainly looks to be entertaining.
