For our last update of 2018, we have HD screencaptures from Isla’s only film release of the year – Tag! This comedy movie co-starred Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm and Leslie Bibb amongst others, and was released back in June. The film received mixed reviews, and upon watching I was underwhelmed by it. Isla popped up throughout the film and her ultra-competitive character was very funny, but ultimately the female characters were placed in the background and Isla was under-used. I’d be very keen to see the sequel Isla & Leslie Bibb have in mind though – watch the video below!!

Isla is making a surprise guest appearance in TBS crime comedy series Angie Tribeca! The show stars Isla’s Tag co-star Rashida Jones. Isla appears in ‘Glitch Perfect’, the 2nd episode of the new 4th season – which is now airing on TBS in the US.

‘Angie Tribeca’ Season 4 to debut in its entirety this weekend
The 10-episode, fourth season of the police sitcom Angie Tribeca is set to air this weekend on TBS.
Episodes 1-5 are scheduled to debut on the cable network Saturday and Episodes 6-10 will premiere Sunday.
The show stars Rashida Jones, Bobby Cannavale, Andrée Vermeulen, Jere Burns and Kiersey Clemons. Making guest appearances this season are Kathryn Hahn, Rose Byrne, Isla Fisher, Anjelica Huston, Carol Burnett, Carl Reiner, Harry Hamlin, Taran Killam, Eliza Coupe, Deon Cole, Jimmy Tatro and Dove Cameron.
“This holiday binge experience is the latest innovative offering that TBS has provided to fans trying to avoid their families,” a press release from TBS joked.
“In Season 4, it’s been 20 years since the law wrongfully turned on Detective Angie Tribeca and tossed her in jail. Now, Tribeca is out, reunited with her team, Lt. Atkins, Dr. Scholls, estranged son, Angie Jr. and the young and brilliant Maria Charo fighting for the good guys.”
The show was created and is executive produced by Steve and Nancy Carell.

I converted to Judaism before marrying my husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, a few years ago, and I adore Hanukkah. Of course, this being my family, our celebrations are a little⊠different. I listen to my brother-in-law Erran Baron Cohenâs rap album, Songs in the Key of Hanukkah, on repeat, and our table is covered with the opposite of traditional blue and white decorations â kitschy antique menorahs everywhere. In terms of presents, we tend to go in for experiences, both over the holidays and all year round. (Case in point: my husband once managed to convince Katy Perry to sing for me and all of our friends in our garden, where she belted out Roar into a glittery microphone.) Most recently, for my motherâs 70th birthday, I got our entire family together at a villa in Provence for a NoĂ«l Coward-themed party. There were musicians playing her favourite songs from that era and tons of bellinis with fresh peach juice. The night ended with the two of us in a lip-sync battle at three in the morning. Just in time for Christmas, the past couple of weeks have been spent updating the Gallery with photos and screencaptures from Isla’s TV appearances this year. She appeared on several shows around May/June to promote Tag and her Marge books. Isla gave some funny interviews, but one of my favourites from this batch is the Hollywood Game Night Red Nose Day Special, in which Isla appears to be in character as her Tag character – very competitive!

Michael Winterbottomâs Greed starring Steve Coogan wraps production
Today, Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP) and Film4 announced they have wrapped production on BAFTA-winning director Michael Winterbottomâs Greed. The film stars Oscar nominee and BAFTA winner Steve Coogan (upcoming Stan & Ollie, Alan Partridge, Philomena), alongside Isla Fisher, BAFTA-winner David Mitchell with Sophie Cookson , Shirley Henderson, Asa Butterfield, Sarah Solemani, Shanina Shaik, Dinita Gohil, Asim Chaudhry, Pearl Mackie, Jonny Sweet, Ollie Locke and Stephen Fry. The satire is co-written by Winterbottom and two-time Emmy Award winner Sean Gray (âVeep,â âThe Thick of Itâ), and is produced by Melissa Parmenter (The Trip film & series, The Look of Love) for Revolution Films and DJ Filmsâ Damian Jones (Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Dadâs Army).
Greed is the fictional story of a retail billionaire, set in the glamorous and celebrity-filled world of luxury fashion, which is centered around the build up to a spectacular 60th birthday party in an exclusive hotel on the Greek island of Mykonos. Sony Pictures International Productions will release the film worldwide in late 2019.
âWe couldnât be more delighted to be teaming with Film4 for this picture,â said Laine Kline, Head of Sony Pictures International Productions. âDamian, Melissa and Michael have done an astronomical job assembling a brilliantly talented comic ensemble for this hilarious satire.â
Film4 Head of Creative Ollie Madden adds, âWe canât think of anyone better to take on the excessive world of business moguls and the super-rich than Michael Winterbottom and Steve Coogan. Together with Sean Gray, a great production team and brilliant ensemble cast, we know theyâre going to make something both funny and with a genuine sting in the tail.â
Winterbottom and Coogan are long term collaborators, with the pair most recently working together on the critically acclaimed third instalment of The Trip series, The Trip to Spain co-starring Rob Brydon. The improvised three season comedy series was inspired by Coogan and Brydonâs semi-fictionalized versions of themselves as portrayed in Winterbottomâs A Cock and Bull Story. Their other collaborations include 24 Hour Party People and The Look of Love, both biopics tracking the rise and fall of entertainment moguls.
The film marks the sixth collaboration between Winterbottom and Film4 who have backed an eclectic range of films from the directorâs repertoire including Genova, Welcome to Sarajevo, With or Without You, 24 Hour Party People, and The Look of Love.
Laine Kline and Luke Scrase are overseeing for SPIP. Sony Pictures International Productions is the local production arm of Sony Pictures Entertainmentâs Motion Picture Group. SPIPâs latest film Slaughterhouse Rulez is currently on release in the UK. SPIP is also in production on an adaption of Alan Warnerâs novel The Sopranos, directed by Michael Caton-Jones.
Daniel Battsek and Ollie Madden are overseeing for Film4. Current and forthcoming Film4 releases include Yorgos Lanthimosâs The Favourite, Steve McQueenâs Widows and Mike Leighâs Peterloo.

She made several appearances on high profile US and UK talk shows, game shows and children’s shows in the second half of the year, to promote the release of her Marge books.
