Isla appeared on US talk show The Talk yesterday, to promote the release of the latest in her Marge book series. She chatted about the Vanity Fair Oscars Party where she was photographed with Ron Howard, Arrested Development (in which she played Ron Howard’s daughter!), a photo of her in a blonde wig on the set of Greed, her recent birthday party, and the Marge series. Isla attended the annual G’Day USA Gala in California last night, to showcase the best of Australia in the United States. Isla wore a silver sequinned ‘Zowie’ gown by Aussie designer Rachel Gilbert – she looks amazing, sparkling! Find the first high quality photos in our Gallery:
Following a teaser trailer last year, the first full-length trailer The Beach Bum has now been released! Isla stars as Minnie in this comedy, set for release in the US in March.
Isla & Sacha attended the Golden Globe Awards last night, and looked amazing! Sacha was celebrating his nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy for Who Is America – unfortunately he didn’t win, with the Globe going to Michael Douglas instead, but it looks like the two had a fun night anyway. Isla looked absolutely gorgeous in a a black lace gown by Monique Lhuillier, with Louboutin heels, and $5.5m worth of Harry Winston diamonds – this old Hollywood look always works perfectly on her! After the show itself, the couple attended the In Style/WB and Netflix after parties.

For our last update of 2018, we have HD screencaptures from Isla’s only film release of the year – Tag! This comedy movie co-starred Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm and Leslie Bibb amongst others, and was released back in June. The film received mixed reviews, and upon watching I was underwhelmed by it. Isla popped up throughout the film and her ultra-competitive character was very funny, but ultimately the female characters were placed in the background and Isla was under-used. I’d be very keen to see the sequel Isla & Leslie Bibb have in mind though – watch the video below!!

Isla is making a surprise guest appearance in TBS crime comedy series Angie Tribeca! The show stars Isla’s Tag co-star Rashida Jones. Isla appears in ‘Glitch Perfect’, the 2nd episode of the new 4th season – which is now airing on TBS in the US.

‘Angie Tribeca’ Season 4 to debut in its entirety this weekend
The 10-episode, fourth season of the police sitcom Angie Tribeca is set to air this weekend on TBS.
Episodes 1-5 are scheduled to debut on the cable network Saturday and Episodes 6-10 will premiere Sunday.
“This holiday binge experience is the latest innovative offering that TBS has provided to fans trying to avoid their families,” a press release from TBS joked.
“In Season 4, it’s been 20 years since the law wrongfully turned on Detective Angie Tribeca and tossed her in jail. Now, Tribeca is out, reunited with her team, Lt. Atkins, Dr. Scholls, estranged son, Angie Jr. and the young and brilliant Maria Charo fighting for the good guys.”
The show was created and is executive produced by Steve and Nancy Carell.

This weekend, as a special holiday-binge treat, TBS is releasing the fourth season of ANGIE TRIBECA in its entirety. Starting at 8pm ET/PT each night, fans (you’re welcome!) can watch all 10 episodes on primetime as well as on the TBS app and TBS.com. Additionally, viewers can binge complete seasons 2 & 3 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
This holiday binge experience is the latest innovative offering that TBS has provided to fans trying to avoid their families. ANGIE TRIBECA initially debuted in 2016 with a 25-hour marathon… that’s right 25 hours… and scored two consecutive seasons of growth among adults 18-49, including +13% for season two and another +8% for the third season. The series has consistently ranked as a top-performing primetime cable comedy and was in the Top 10 for season 3.
This season’s powerhouse lineup of guest stars includes Kathryn Hahn, Rose Byrne, Anjelica Huston, Gillian Jacobs, Carl Reiner, HARRY Hamlin, Taran Killam, Eliza Coupe, Deon Cole, Jimmy Tatro, Dove Cameron, Isla Fisher, Heather Graham and Carol Burnett.
Real, brooding and shockingly alive, ANGIE TRIBECA is the brainchild of Steve and Nancy Carell, who executive-produce the critically-acclaimed series along with showrunner Ira Ungerleider. The series, which Vanity Fair calls “very, very funny” and the LA Times describes as an “entertaining joyride,” follows a squad of committed LAPD detectives who investigate the most serious cases, from the murder of a ventriloquist to a rash of baker suicides.
Just in time for Christmas, the past couple of weeks have been spent updating the Gallery with photos and screencaptures from Isla’s TV appearances this year. She appeared on several shows around May/June to promote Tag and her Marge books. Isla gave some funny interviews, but one of my favourites from this batch is the Hollywood Game Night Red Nose Day Special, in which Isla appears to be in character as her Tag character – very competitive!

She made several appearances on high profile US and UK talk shows, game shows and children’s shows in the second half of the year, to promote the release of her Marge books. There were lots of fun interviews, and of course the Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance included the infamous Amy Adams PSA!
