I’ve added a few HD screencaptures from Isla’s 2012 animated movie Rise Of The Guardians, in which she voices the excitable and very pretty Tooth Fairy. While the film is not a favourite of mine, Tooth is super cute and it would’ve been nice to see/hear more of her in the film!
Tooth: “That’s why we collect the teeth Jack, they hold the most important memories of childhood. My fairies and I watch over them, and when someone needs to remember what’s important, we help them. We had everyone’s here – yours too.”
Because Isla has had a busy year this year, I thought it would be fun to do a Best of 2012 post – as we finally have some things to pick ‘bests’ of!
It’s been a Fisher fantastic year for fans, with Isla having two films released this year – Bachelorette and Rise Of The Guardians – and promoting them both. She started off her 2012 in Sundance, where raunchy comedy Bachelorette was premiered with co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Lizzy Caplan. The film was one of the most talked about of the festival, and Isla took part in photoshoots and interviews for it. We were treated to another sighting of Isla a few months later, when she turned up to support her husband’s movie The Dictator at its London premiere. She looked fresh in a pale blue Dolce & Gabbana mini dress, showing off her great figure. A few weeks later Isla took a trip to the Cannes Film Festival where her new animated comedy Rise Of The Guardians was screened. Isla and co-stars Chris Pine and Alec Baldwin took part in a Q&A for the film, and Isla also attended the Calvin Klein Women In Film event with good friend Naomi Watts.
Malone’s Movie Minute: Alec Baldwin and Isla Fisher talk Rise of the Guardians A minute with Alec Baldwin and Isla Fisher from the animated flick ”Rise of the Guardians”. Alec tries his best Aussie accent, Isla reveals that most Americans aren’t aware she’s Australian, and Alec teaches me some animation voice 101… making embarrassing noises.
