Interviews at CinemaCon

Isla chatted to a couple of news outlets whilst at CinemaCon recently – here are the interviews:

Isla Fisher Unveils Special Talent in ‘See Me’

In her upcoming film, Now You See Me, Isla Fisher takes on the role of an illusionist, which didn’t prove to be much of a stretch for her to play, as she possesses some uncanny skills similar to those of a magician.

For the thriller, Fisher partakes in some incredible illusionist stunts, including submerging herself in an aquarium for an extended period of time, a skill that she claims to truly possess.

“In one of the takes, I held my breath for almost three minutes,” the Australian actress recounted to ET Canada. “I was quite impressed.”

For the illusionist skills that she didn’t already own naturally, Fisher divulged that she consulted well-known illusionist and her friend David Blaine, who she said was very helpful to her preparation for the role.

Isla promotes “Now You See Me” at CinemaCon

A couple of weeks ago Isla travelled to Las Vegas for Now You See Me press duties at the annual CinemaCon event. CinemaCon is an event for studios to promote their upcoming releases to movie theatres, and Isla and her Now You See Me co-star Morgan Freeman were on hand to introduce the trailer for their film. Isla looked pretty in a Chloe blouse and skirt, and nude Casadei heels. HQ photos are up in our Gallery courtesy of my good friend Rachel!

Isla on the cover of Fitness magazine

Isla brightens up the May issue of US Fitness magazine, with a brand new interview and photoshoot! The photoshoot is fun and colourful, and I love the honest interview in which Isla talks about her body and what she does to stay in shape. She also shares her exercise playlist with the magazine.

The magazine also features the first still of Isla in The Great Gatsby, as well as a new still from Now You See Me.

Check out the photo coverage in our Gallery, and you can read the interview there, on our Press page, or at FitnessMagazine.com.

Be sure to pick up a copy of this magazine if you can!

“For me, so much about life is acceptance. You can look in the mirror and find a million things wrong with yourself. Or you can look in the mirror and think, I feel good, I have my health, and I’m so blessed. That’s the way I choose to look at it. I don’t need to be perfect. I’m doing just fine.”

“Now You See Me” release moves forward a week
