Elle – November 2008 Scan

I have added the hi quality scan from Elle – November 2008. As we’ve already seen, the photo is absolutely gorgeous. The article is brief but an enjoyable read.

What photo shoot do you most regret?
“None. When I was in my early twenties I tried to reinvent my my image. I did a couple of bikini shoots and an FHM cover. Afterward I sort of regretted it, but now, believe me, I’m grateful. Once you get to a certain age, it’s like, Really? My thighs looked like that? Fantastic!”

Scans from 2007

Now, I have a lot of Isla magazines and clippings at home, which I previously have not had the chance to scan. I am going to start catching up on scans from now on. For this update I added scans from four magazines dating back to 2007. The Details photos are easily some of my all time faves.

Elle Magazine’s 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute

Last night Isla attended the 15th Annual Elle Magazine’s Women in Hollywood Tribute. She was there to be honored by Courteney Cox. She looked classic and chic with her hair straight and in a black dress with matching clutch and heels. Let’s just say it: how amazing does Ms. Fisher look! Absolutely stunning – and this is her first time on the red carpet since February!

The first few images have been uploaded. Many more to be added throughout the day so check back for updates!

Confessions of a Shopaholic Stills

“I literally jumped up and down when I heard about the movie. I would have been the first one in the cinema even if I weren’t involved. I can’t tell you the number of women who have told me, ‘I am Becky Bloomwood.’ She is humble, sweet, optimistic and gets really excited about things.”

Confessions of a Shopaholic appears to be a breezy romp through Manhattan’s high-end store aisles as its first theatrical trailer premieres Friday, before showings of Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

Especially with accident-prone Becky Bloomwood, the insolvent heroine of Sophie Kinsella’s best-selling chick-lit series, leading the “charge-it!” charge.

But when the comedy opens Feb. 13, with Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) as the irrepressible spendthrift, it could also serve as a cautionary tale, given that the dreary economic climate isn’t about to brighten soon.

“The consumerism in the movie kind of puts it out there,” says producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who’s taking a break from such manly fare as the Pirates of the Caribbean films for more pink-hued pursuits. “Credit companies gladly will send you a number of cards, you get into debt, and then they come after you.”
