Isla and Leslie Mann appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show today to promote their new movie Blithe Spirit. As well as the movie, they also talked about how long they’ve known each other, their funny husbands, their love of comedy, and haunted happenings on the set, before playing a game of ‘face the fun facts’:
The Golden Globes were held virtually (mostly) last night, with Isla and Sacha joining virtually. Sacha won two of his three nominated categories – Best Actor In A Comedy and Best Comedy Picture, both for Borat Subsequent MovieFilm – and no-one was more delighted than Isla! She proudly pointed out that these wins make Sacha the first actor to win twice for playing the same character. Isla’s reactions are hilarious and I loved seeing how happy and proud she was 😀 Isla looked stunning a fuchsia dress by Alex Perry, with Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery, Stuart Weitzman heels, make-up by Filomena Natoli and hair by Travis Balcke – love this look!

Isla appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday to promote Godmothered. Isla talked about Hanukkah and Christmas, how involved she is in her husbands work, whether she visits her husband on set, her new movie, and a present her actual Godmother gave her when she was a child.

Isla and Jillian Bell made an appearance on Aussie news/talk show The Project yesterday to promote Godmothered. They chatted about the need for a feel-good Christmas movie this year, who they’d give a fairy Godmother to, and who would be their ideal fairy Godmother for themselves. Watch the interview below:
Isla made an appearance on UK chat show Lorraine on Tuesday. It’s a really good interview – she talks about the film, as well as how she got into comedy, how she’s managed quarantine, her Scottish accent in Burke & Hare, and the ‘Amy Adams’ thing! Isla appeared on Good Morning America on Monday to promote Godmothered. As well as her new movie, she also talked about how she’s coping with quarantine, and the possibility of a Wedding Crashers 2! Isla’s dress is by Aussie designer Zimmerman.
