Isla attends “All New People” Broadway premiere

Early last week Isla attended the premiere of the new off-Broadway show All New People in New York City, to support her Shopaholic co-star Krysten Ritter who stars in the play. I’ve added a few photos from the event to our (old) Gallery for you!

Isla and her family are currently living in New York City whilst her husband films his new movie.

Meryl Streep is my hero. I like to watch Scarlett Johansson and Joaquin Phoenix too. I also really love Isla Fisher because of whom I did Confessions of a Shopaholic, which really is a movie where I had no business being in.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Confessions of a Shopaholic on June 23, 2009. Isla Fisher stars in this comedy based on the books by Sophie Kinsella.

Available on single-disc DVD ($29.99 SRP), 2-Disc DVD ($32.99 SRP) and 2-Disc Blu-ray ($39.99 SRP), the second disc on DVD and Blu-ray is just a digital copy.

And lately her image is plastered across buses and billboards all over the US.

“How am I on a poster?” she wonders when she spots them. And then reminds herself that someone has given her a movie.

“It’s a little unnerving,” she explains.
