With thanks to my beloved friend April we have some previously unseen scans from a couple of 2009 magazines when Isla was promoting Confessions Of A Shopaholic. Women’s Weekly had a short interview with her alongside a promotional photoshoot for Shopaholic, and In Style Australia reprinted the shoot and text from Isla’s earlier spread in the magazine’s UK edition. Here’s a big update for you – I’ve added a ton of additional (mostly) HQ photos from several of Isla’s summer public appearances to promote Gatsby and Now You See Me! On Monday Isla made a low key appearance at the ceremony to unveil famed Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bruckheimer produced Confessions Of A Shopaholic, and Isla voiced her praise for him whilst promoting the movie, and also revealed that he hired her a trainer to help her get back into shape after the birth of her first daughter. Isla looked cute at the event in a little black top and a beige skirt. We have HQ photos for you in the Gallery, most of which are thanks to our lovely friend DeA:

Whilst in London to promote Now You See Me, Isla appeared on talk shows This Morning and Daybreak. She went solo on This Morning, and talked about Now You See Me, the stunts in that movie and her co-stars, and also about The Great Gatsby. She also explained the rumour about her and Sacha complaining about Leonardo DiCaprio’s noisy party at Cannes – they did crash the party and pretended to complain, but it was a joke – and Isla let slip a (slightly) naughty word when recounting the story, which she was very apologetic about! Over on This Morning she was accompanied by Jesse Eisenberg, and they chatted about similar things, plus their careers. Isla looked pretty in an outfit from Australian fashion label Lover.

Isla and her Now You See Me co-star Jesse Eisenberg have been promoting their new movie in the UK this past week, and on Wednesday appeared at the Regent Street Apple Store in London to chat about the film. Isla wore a fitted grey dress by Stella McCartney, with Christian Louboutin shoes, and jewellry by Dana Rebecca Designs and Graziela for the event. Check out the HQ photos in our Gallery:

Earlier this month Isla popped up at the AFI Life Achievement Award Honoring actor/director/screenwriter/producer Mel Brooks. She was accompanied by her husband, and the couple smiled for cameras during the event. Even more exciting than that though (for me), was seeing Isla and Sacha with Martin Scorsese – what a picture!! Sacha previously worked with Scorsese on Hugo, and I hope that Isla too will have the chance to work with the director someday (soon). Isla was also snapped with writer/director Judd Apatow, and actor Cary Elwes. Style-wise, Miss Fisher opted for a sparkly black dress and blazer for the event. Check out the HQ pics in our Gallery.
