First poster for “Rise Of The Guardians”

A while ago we reported that Isla had signed to voice a role in another animated comedy, Rise Of The Guardians, and now the first poster for the film has been released! It doesn’t feature Isla, but you can view it below, and find two synopsis’s after that.

When Pitch (Jude Law), an evil spirit akin to the Boogeyman, lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world.

Rise of the Guardians tells the story of a group of heroes — each with extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world. This epic 3D adventure stars Chris Pine as Jack Frost, Alec Baldwin as North (Santa Claus), Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund (Easter Bunny), Isla Fisher as Tooth (Tooth Fairy) and Jude Law as Pitch (The Boogeyman).

Peter Ramsey and William Joyce are directing, David Lindsay-Abaire has written the screenplay, and Guillermo del Toro and Michael Siegel are executive producers. The film is based on the books by William Joyce.

You can see concept art for the Jack Frost character at RopeOfSilicon.com. And read an interview with co-director and story writer William Joyce at HitFix.com.

Rise of the Guardians is set for release on November 21st 2012.

Press section complete!

After many hours of hard work and Google searching, our Press page is now done! We have almost 70 interviews with Isla, some dating as far back as 1996! There are some fantastic reads in there – not only some fun laughs, but a lot of interesting information that you may not have read before. If you’re after a good fix of Isla, I’d definitely recommend browsing through all these interviews. It’s a great way to ‘get to know’ Isla better.

I’ve worked really hard to make this section as complete as possible (as with all our content!), so I hope you’ll enjoy this 🙂

Big ‘Isla’ section content updates!

A few weeks ago I got stuck into some content work and almost completed our Isla information section! New pages were added for Astrology, Charities, Contact Isla, Cover-O-Graphy and Isla Loves, among others, while existing pages, such as Isla’s Family, were updated. I’ve done a lot of research to put together these pages, in an attempt to make it as original, comprehensive and accurate as possible .. so I hope you find some interesting info in there, and enjoy the section!

All that remains to be done in the Isla section now is putting together the Press page which will in turn spawn more information for our Trivia and Quotes pages. I will also update the Biography soon too.

This will likely be my last update before Christmas, due to the busy holiday season. However, I will get back to working on the content, as well as some Gallery screencapture updates, asap after Xmas Day itself (if not sooner, depending on time!). Enjoy the new content updates, and check back soon for more Isla goodies 🙂

First stills from “The Great Gatsby” (but no Isla)

A year ahead of it’s official release date, Warner Bros have released the first two stills from The Great Gatsby! Unfortunately neither of them feature Isla as Myrtle, but we do get a good look at Carey Mulligan as Daisy, Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Leo DiCaprio as gatsby himself. The sets and costumes looks as gorgeous as you would imagine from a Baz Luhrmann production.

As the photos don’t show Isla I haven’t added them to our Gallery. View previews below, and head on over to Carey Mulligan Online to view them full size. What do you think of the stills? Do they make you more excited to see the film next year?
